Please contribute to Police-Misconduct.org by adding comments to our Guest Book. You are welcome to share your opinions about Police-Misconduct.org, and the content featured on this website. You are also encouraged to share your opinions and experiences about corruption and abuse of power and authority by Law Enforcement or other relevant  Police Misconduct related content. If you are aware of a specific problematic police officer or police department  that is in need of specific attention, please mention these matters here and don't forget to reference to the specific Town/City, State or Jurisdiction where these problems are occurring.  There are many reasons why Police Misconduct occurs, such as lack of oversight, and the common belief by many  law enforcement officers that they can get away with it,  which unfortunately is often true.  Acting and behaving as if they are above the law, beyond rebuke and exempt from prosecution, the belief on the part of officers that nobody would ever know or learn of their dirty deeds, and if  word did get out, either nobody would care, listen, or believe the victims side of the story. Obviously, Police-Misconduct.org does not solve all of these problems.  It  is however, or is at  least  indented to be a step in the right direction. A small step  perhaps, but a  valid, important and significant step indeed. I want to thank Police-Misconduct.org, for soliciting my input, and for  inviting me to participate in this project.
An important part of solving many  problems in society and culture  is in very the act of bringing attention to them. This in and of  itself does not solve all of these problems, yet helps to set the appropriate conditions to enable these problems to be solved. Just as many common crimes are not committed in broad daylight in view of witnessesPolice Misconduct, Brutality and Corruption would happen much less if more people took the initiative and invested the effort to Shed light on these problems, and to  shed this light from  whatever possible angle, from a reasonably safe distance,  and to preferably do so with others collaborating as a team, and striving for the achievement of similar goals.
Obviously, all Civilians are not criminals, nor are we all "perfect law-abiding citizens", and understandably nobody enjoys being abused by law enforcement. Lets however be realistic, fair, reasonable and mindful of the fact that Law Enforcement does have a legitimate purpose and place in society, and let us not be ignorant of the fact that there are many legitimatebrave and honest police officers  who put their lives on the line daily to protect society  from dangerous criminals. It  would be  counter-productive, reckless and irresponsible to degrade or devalue the valor and dignity of these noble officers because of the bad apples that exist among them. Instead, lets focus on the bad apples without cutting down the apple tree.  Thus being said, this is not a  Cop Hating or  Cop Bashing Forum, or a place to vent  and bitch about a police officer because you did something wrong and happened to get caught.  Perhaps you deserved what you had coming to you!
We respectsupport and defend the First Amendment,  but please respect others and help us to maintain the integrity of this website by not abusing or misusing this website or misinterpreting its mission, intent and purpose. This site is to address the very real and serious problems of Police Misconduct  in our society. This site is in no way intended to promote violence against any individual, nor does it advocate or endorse criminal activity of any nature.
Please refrain from using abusive, libelous, threatening content.  Comments such as: "
Pigs Suck" or " F--K the Police" will not be tolerated and will be deleted by the webmaster and admin team.  Any postings that advocate violence toward police, judges, prosecutors, or any person (s)  will also not be tolerated.
Just as civilians do not appreciate being profiled by police officers by the color of their skin, their ethnic origin, social class, economic status, etc, lets not profile or classify another human being as "corrupt" or  label a person as a "pig" or "Nazi" simply because they  wear a police uniform and carry a gun and a badge. We are a society composed of unique individual members. As individuals, we each need to harness the responsibility and possess the courage to see beyond the surface ( Skin Color, Uniform, etc  .)  As separate unique human beings, we have much more in common with each other than we have differences.
